Philosophy & Accreditation

The PVC Stewardship Program, administered by the Vinyl Council of Australia, is an on-going, long-term, voluntary undertaking by the Australian PVC industry to recognise, and progressively address, all relevant environmental, health and safety issues along the PVC product life cycle within responsible and deliverable time frames.

As a Signatory to the Program since 2014, Specialty Polymers & Chemicals supports the program and adheres to the following five key themes associated with the life cycle of PVC

Specialty Polymers & Chemicals provide sustainable solutions in an ever changing and environmentally conscience market.  Understanding the importance of health and safety for not only the end user but also all stakeholders involved, SP&C have been a leader in introducing safer alternatives to chemicals traditionally used in manufacturing.

SP&C is committed to the long term removal of heavy metals from the Australian manufacturing industry. They are importers of additives which are 100% free of lead, cadmium and hexavellent chrome derivatives.
